For the past year, I’ve been wading through the unfamiliar waters of establishing my business, working to reach the families that I want to serve and serving them by creating memories and documenting moments for them to look back on for years to come. It is truly rewarding providing families in Maryland, DC and Virginia with lifestyle newborn and family photography.
I believe in capturing moments between a mom and her toddler. A moment of giggles, shared secrets, full belly laughs. So that at the end of the day, that day that might’ve been full of tears, tantrums and multiple time outs, she can collapse of the sofa with a glass of wine or a bowl of ice cream and look at a photo that reminds her that she is a wonderful mommy to her sweet little angel. I capture moments between a dad and his little boy. That moment of tossing his little dude up into the air, creating surprise and delight on his little one’s face. After a day where dinner ended up more in his hair than in his mouth (or on the floor for the dogs), a day when he tackled his brother multiple times, where the word “no” was heard (from both father and child) more times than anyone would care to count, dad can see a canvas hanging on the wall that reminds him that he loves being a father and that he and his son have a blast together. They’re only little for a little while, and her smile won’t look the same next year and he will outgrow those baby mannerisms that you think you’ll remember forever. I’m here to capture that for you, to document these days that feel so long right now but that you will so desperately miss one day.
And so, to better serve my families, I’ve taken a hard look at my pricing structure and determined my new pricing effective September 1, 2018. I am so excited to continue serving families with beautiful lifestyle photography that they will treasure for years to come.
