Melissa and Joe welcomed their third baby boy on the evening of Saturday, November 11th. Wade is just so sweet, and it was apparent that they are overjoyed with their newest addition to the family. I was fortunate to meet Melissa when our boys were in a playgroup together, in the Severna Park Mom’s Club, a few years ago, and I am grateful that she chose me to document this milestone for their family.
With three young boys in a family, Melissa and Joe know they are in for some wild times. They will never run short on smiles and laughter, and I expect that big brothers, Jack and Grady, will teach Wade everything he needs to know as he grows.
After spending some time focusing on baby Wade by himself, we spent some time getting family snuggles in on the couch. There was so much love to be felt and so much fun to be had. It was clear that all of Melissa’s boys adore her and the whole family adores Wade.
While the boys took a snack break, mama took some time for quiet baby snuggles back in the nursery. Wade was very content to be snuggled in mama’s arms.
Dad took some time to snuggle Wade too, and marvel at the wonder that a sweet newborn is. Jack couldn’t resist coming and gazing on his little brother too.
And of course we had to take some time for big brothers to hold Wade too. Jack and Grady were so full of energy, but also calm and responsible when holding their new brother.
We took some quiet moments with just mom and dad in the nursery.
After several years of marriage and three children, it is obvious that these two are still very much in love.
Melissa and Joe’s neighborhood has a beautiful waterfront community space and we couldn’t resist taking the boys on a quick outing to take advantage of the mid-November warm up.
Melissa and Joe, thank you so much for giving me the honor of documenting this time in your family’s life. You are raising a truly beautiful family, full of joy and laughter, and I look forward to watching your boys grow!
