I feel so fortunate to have the ability to homeschool my boys, and even more blessed that it leads me to meet people like Meghan and her beautiful, intelligent girls, Gabi and Camilla. I am even more fortunate that Meghan trusts me to capture photos of her family, and decided to gift her mother a family session with me, from her and her brothers.
We decided that Nonna’s house, in Glen Burnie, Maryland, was the perfect location for a family photo session and chose a beautiful, sunny Sunday morning in May. As the rest of the family arrived, we took advantage of the front porch to get portraits of Gabbi and Camilla with Nonna, and slowly added the rest of the family in.
Then we headed inside for an air conditioning break, and piled everyone on the couch.
We took time to capture each family’s portrait and it was beautiful to see the different relationships everyone had with one another and how much love their was in this family.
Everyone showed me beautiful smiles, told each other that they loved them and then showed me their silliest faces (Nonna apparently has the best silly face!).
We headed to the backyard, an oasis of sun and shade, and captured more smiles, laughter, love and silliness.
It was clear how much love and respect everyone in the family has for Donna, and how much they all enjoy spending time together.
Gabbi and Camilla clearly have a lot of love for each other and they are both always ready to show off their silly side.
Meghan, Shane and Zach, thank you for trusting me to capture this moment in time. It is a truly beautiful gift that you have given to your mother, and you all have such wonderful families. Joanne, thank you for welcoming me into your home. I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday morning with you, and I love the moments we captured.
