A Sweet Family Photo Session at Kinder Farm Park

I first heard from Dani in the spring, after she was the highest bidder on the package that I donated as a silent auction item for the Greater Severna Park Mom’s Club annual gala to benefit Sarah’s House. Sarah’s House, established in 1987 through a partnership between Anne Arundel County, Catholic Charities and the U.S. Army, provides shelters, meals and other assistance to families in need in Anne Arundel County. Dani contacted me soon after winning the package, and I was very excited for her as she was about to welcome her third baby girl into their family this past June. She was excited to do fall family photos with her growing family, so we exchanged some messages and had a few phone calls, finally settling on doing a family session in October at Kinder Farm Park in Millersville, Maryland.

It was a little more chilly than we had anticipated that day but that wasn’t too much of a problem since Madison had us all constantly in motion! We explored a variety of barn backdrops, played in a field, hung out (upside down some of the time) and just had fun checking out the cows and chickens.

As I went through the photos later that night, Dani’s smile in them just made me light up and I was grateful for Steve’s laidback nature when I asked him to hang the girls upside down or toss Brooklyn up in the air to get all the smiles. Madison and Brooklyn were full of spark and I loved watching the take in their surroundings at the farm. Peyton was incredibly relaxed for a 5 month old and I loved seeing her little smiles as she was loved on by all.

I truly enjoyed my time spent with this sweet family. Dani and Steve, thank you again for your donation to Sarah’s House and for allowing me to spend time with and document your family. I wish happiness for you all and for your girls bond to continue to grow as they grow.
