Sweet Fall Family Photos & Cake Smash in Southern Maryland

A year goes by so fast. It feels as if it was just yesterday that Amanda and I were talking about doing Adelyn’s newborn photos. And here we are a year later and Miss Adventure, Miss Personality, the Pilkerton Wild One is smashing her cake and wrapping up her first trip around the sun.

Beginning to walk around 8 and 1/2 months, running by 10 months, itching to climb and keep up with her sister, Adelyn can only be described as fierce, bold and adventurous. And this is why her mommy calls her her Wild One.

When we planned a session for early October in southern Maryland we thought it might still be warm but had no idea that it would be close to 100 degrees that day! Still we had fun, playing and running around the Pilkerton’s 16 acre property in Clements, Maryland.

There is a lot of love in this family. I can feel it every time I’m around them. I just love being a part of their lives and am honored to be asked to document these moments.
