Real Families • beautiful places • Timeless Memories
When Meg and I talked about locations for her family photos, we talked about places that she and Andrew enjoyed spending time, and Forward Brewing in Eastport, Annapolis, came up as one of their favorite date night places. Meg’s parents live in Eastport, on the waterfront, and we decided that their home would be the […]
Sometimes we plan on getting around to something for a while, but life gets busy. With a 16 year old, a 14 year old, 11 year old and 5 year old, it isn’t getting any less busy, but Michael and Yanet decided that it was time to make that family photo session happen. So on […]
I first met Kearney, Brent and Aiden at Kinder Farm Park last year, when they came for my Limited Edition Fall sessions. We had so much fun together that we decided to extend the fun this year with a full family session at their beautiful home on the water in Annapolis, Maryland. I came to […]
What an amazing start to the fall photo season! I’ve had the honor of documenting this wonderful family three times in the last year, and it’s been so cool to watch Wesley and Clare grow. I first met Ashley and Dan for Clare’s newborn photos last year, and then saw them again at the Christmas […]
One of the very best parts of what I do is watching the families and the children that I photograph grow and change. Lizz has been trusting me to capture her family photos for 7 years now. Which means I’ve been watching, and documenting, her sweet girls, Bella and Natalie, as they grew from toddlers into young women. And I’ve watched the love that Lizz and Richard share and shower on their girls help make them into the sweet and confident ladies that they are right now . . .
Throughout these years that the Aviles family has given me the honor of taking their photos, we’ve done family sessions at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, and multiple beach family photo sessions in Ocean City, Maryland. This year, they decided to capture their family moments at their family home in northern Virginia. If you’re familiar with my photography, or have spoken to me about photo sessions, you may know that your family home is my favorite place to capture family photos and this session did not disappoint . . .
Melissa’s birthday is November 7th and she thought that family photos at her home in Annapolis, Maryland, would be the perfect way to wrap up her birthday weekend and to celebrate herself and her family. And she felt overdue for family photos, not having had them done since sweet Holly (who is 20 months old) was born!
Megan and John have such a beautiful home on the water in Severna Park, that it’s no wonder they wanted to capture some memories there. This time in their lives was especially important to them to document, as they are looking at a potential relocation and they’ve raised their two sweet little girls in this home.
Heather and Marcus are living in a house with 10 animals. At least that’s what their daughter, Jessica said, since, in her words, humans are animals. Recently engaged, they are combining their families, each bringing three children into the home, a beautiful new home that they JUST moved into in Gambrills, Maryland. Lucky for me, that home backs up to woods that make the perfect backdrop for a fall family photo session.
This family holds an extra special place in my heart. I met Kandace at a mom’s night for moms of children who went to Budding Voices for speech therapy and other therapies. I felt an instant connection with Kandace and have been incredibly grateful that our friendship has continued to grow. Last year, I had the honor and privilege to both witness and document the birth of her second sweet little boy, Amos Lee. I was so happy when she asked to have her family photos documented again this October.
